Case Studies
UK University – Sought Partner Institution in China
Working closely with the client, the China Factor team helped put together marketing materials aimed at potential Chinese partners, translated them into Chinese and produced China–facing web pages. As part of this, we identified the courses and programmes within the university’s existing offering, which were most marketable in China and developed a programme outline and detailed proposal taking into account Chinese government policies and market requirements.
We organised for key university personnel to visit China and meet relevant government officials at the Ministry of Education in China as well as local education authorities, through which we gained substantial official support for the client. We then shortlisted prospective partner universities in both first and second tier cities and established dialogues with the key people at each one. The China Factor team worked with the client’s academic and management team to plan course content and delivery, financial structure and timelines with the selected partner.
UK Law Firm – PR in China
The China Factor team was in charge of event management and media relations for the opening of the client’s Beijing office. Our role included drafting press releases in both Chinese and English and procuring the attendance of relevant Chinese and UK government officials and VIP speakers for the ceremony. We also ensured that journalists from national and local press and TV attended and reported on the event. The successful event was widely reported in all target media in China.
Chinese Company – Fundraising in UK

In addition to advising on the business plan, we introduced other relevant experts, potential clients and strategic partners in the sector. China Factor project–managed and facilitated the private equity fundraising exercise and assisted with legal documentation.
