UK Education Organisation – Sought Partner Institution in China
Working closely with the client, the China Factor team first helped put together its marketing materials for China and translated it into Chinese language, also helped established its China–facing web pages. Identified the university’s existing courses and programmes that were most marketable in China, built programme outline and proposal based on Chinese government policies and market requirements. Organised trips for university personnel to China and visited relevant government officials at the Ministry of Education in China as well as local education authorities, gained substantial official support for the client. Organised local visits and helped established dialogues with local universities in both first and second tier cities. Once short–listed prospective local partner university, the China Factor team worked with the client’s academic and management personnel to plan course content and delivery as well as short and long term financial structure, also communicating closely with Chinese partner university to get feedback and set out timetable.
UK Company – PR in China
The China Factor team was in charge of media relations for the client’s Beijing office opening ceremony. Event management work also included drafting press release in both Chinese and English languages, inviting Chinese and UK government VIP officials to attend and gave speech at the ceremony. Successfully procured journalists from national and municipal press and TV stations to attend and report the event. Following the event, news coverage and reports were published widely on Chinese media.
Chinese Company – Fundraising in UK
The China Factor team worked closely with the client to draft its business plan and financial projection. From the preliminary stage, the team helped strengthen the client’s business model and financial structure by giving advice and introducing relevant experts, potential clients and partners in the field. Project–managed and facilitated fundraising exercise which involved select private equity investors being introduced, also helped with legal documentations and board structure.
